These are a few of my LEAST favourite things

1) People that think fashion is stupid. Some people believe that the fashion industry is shallow and pointless. They think that if you say that you like fashion then you are stupid. When they don't even know who the Editor in Chief of Vogue is or where the four fashion capitals are situated. In actual fact a lot of fashion editors, writers and bloggers read the newspapers everyday and use that to inspire their stories. It is common in the fashion industry today to have a base story that is something topical that almost all audiences would at least be slightly interested in and then put a fashionable twist on it. I do not think that these people who think fashion is stupid mean to be spiteful in anyway. I think that they just don't know much about the world of fashion and for that reason I feel sorry for them. The people that hate fashion are normally the people that could benefit the most from it.

2) Pointless School Subjects. I have heard from numerous adults that almost everything you learn in school is completely pointless and you will never use it again (I am not going to name names because I don't want teachers to read this and come chasing after the people that have informed me of this.) The fact is, I know what I want to do with my life so to me quite a lot of subjects are utterly pointless and I know that I will never need to use them. I have just chosen my GCSEs which means that (thank God) next year I will be able to drop a few pointless subjects (e.g. music and geography) but I will have to continue learning others up to GCSE standard (e.g. science and ICT.) I'm not saying that the subjects I just mentioned are pointless full stop (if you understand them and enjoy them then that's cool) but they seem pointless to me and I can't wait until I get to study subjects that are going to be useful and that I want to learn and I already know what I want to do for A Level, although I am aware that my choices might change when it comes down to it but I have always wanted to do English Literature, History and Media Studies and I would be quite interested in Sociology as well.

School uniform makes it hard to tell who's who.
3) Strict School Uniform Rules. This is the sort of thing that makes me wish I lived in America (there are plenty of other things too but we won't go into that right now.) My school has annoyingly strict school uniform rules: they give you absolutely no freedom to express yourself. I understand that wearing your own clothes can lead to bullying and blah, blah, blah...but not wearing your own clothes can lead to mild forms of depression (been there, done that.)Wearing school uniform makes everyone seem like clones when actually everyone is different, they still look different, they have different personalities and want to do different things with their life. Another annoying thing about school is that everyone is thrown together regardless of anything other than age and sometimes ability to learn. Therefore you don't necessarily have anything in common with your class mates. It is different when you get a job because people have chose that job and even if you have nothing else in common, you have the job in common. Whereas it is compulsory to go to school.

4) Bad manners. The thing that annoys me most is when people just won't come off their phone when they are supposed to be socialising with you! It is so frustrating. It is also awkward when people make inappropriate comments or jokes and it's gross when people noisily give wind or pick their nose in public.

This Asos dress is alright but it does look like it's a few sizes too small.
5) Trashy/slutty people. These people generally tend to act like they are God's gift but they obviously don't have much self respect or else they would treat their body better and generally not be so easy. They tend to have bad manners, think that they are fashionable when really they just show off as much skin as humanly possible (or legal, anyway) and they often take too much for granted so they fit into three other categories too.

6) People that take material items for granted. Almost everyone in this country is guilty this but some people just take it to the extreme. For example, people who get an amazing amount of money and blow it on lots of little things don't appreciate fashion as much as people who save up for one big, expensive item because the latter would have waited, making the item even more desirable than it was in the first place. Whereas, the former would never stop and think about what she was buying, they would just see it, know they had the money then buy it straight away and they would go through the same pattern a dozen times every shopping trip.
