I have recently been browsing the internet a lot and reading lots of different fashion blogs for inspiration. I have found a lot of very different ones and I have decided to dedicate whole blog posts to ones that I found the best so that I can share my joy in reading them.
I love Clever Little Buttons because each post is not just targeted at someone who wears the latest trends full stop, but it allows readers to channel their own style through each look. It also remains topical throughout. The post that I have read most recently is the post that I think is so creative as well as being topical. The day after the Royal Wedding most fashion bloggers would be writing about Kate's dress, what the guests wore and the wedding in general. However, Clever Little Buttons cleverly featured a post called "The Morning After" all about what to wear when you have had a late night and are feeling a bit hungover the next morning as I am sure the guests at William and Kate's wedding reception were feeling. However, it was written in a Clever Little Buttons fashion meaning that it had an outfit for "The Cutiepie", "The Fashion Conscious Lounger" and "The Get Up and Go." Not only are there different styles for each trend/look but she says how to wear each of them depending on your body shape. She manages to relate to each and every girl who loves fashion but she also acknowledges that having a love for fashion by no means makes you super human. This is shown in "The Morning After" post when she described how to be comfy and admits that her UGG boot is her favourite friend and she lives in them, especially when her feet are hurting which I think everyone can relate to at some point. Even the most style conscious person would totally be kidding themselves if they said they could walk around in five inch stilettos 24/7. Today's post The Summer of'79 explores the new 70's trend and different ways to wear the look. Overall Clever Little Buttons has only thirty two posts which is even less than my blog but it definitely shows that a successful blog is about quality not quantity. Intrigued? Excited? Want to check it out? I don't blame you. Follow this link to see the amazing Clever Little Buttons blog: http://www.cleverlittlebuttons.co.uk/
